Bo's Friday July, 16

What's your home page?  If it's google you may want to click on the link in the upper right corner for iGoogle.  Then make it your home page.  You can tweak it to include weather and other stuff on your iGoogle home page by clicking the down arrow by Home and adding Gadgets.  I added NPR news, because I like a 5 minute sum-up of the daily news without commercials.  But the gadget I really like is the Nutrition Tracker.  You put in your age and gender and it gives you check boxes for how many servings of each food group you should be eating.  Everytime you are on the computer you just add checkmarks.  We'll see how I like it.   It does fit into my "cheep is good, free is better philosophy." 

By the way.  I did check out my old textbook gift cards.  It was hilarious.  One had 2 cents on it.  Great.  Another one had $5.26.  So I checked Amazon.com on a whim and found a "Prevention 3 2 1" DVD from a used bookseller for 1.99 with 2.98 shipping.  I figured, "Why Not?"  So I gave it a try.  In 7-10 days you should be receiving the DVD.  If it's in bad condition we'll know not to order used DVD's again.  But the way I see it, it's a free shot.

BTW, You did do well yesterday.  A smoothie for dinner is less fat than a hamburger right?

Breakfast (eaten quite late) was scrambled eggs with sauted onions and tomatoes (go garden)
Lunch:  leftover eggs.  (can't stand to waste perfectly good food)
2 cups of 1% milk
a  39cent bean burrito from the frozen section of the commissary. 

Now it's 3:25pm (that15:25 if you're us)  I don't know about dinner......
